I know there will be 150 posts by morning but I can't resist.

He was absolutely PERFECT. A perfect blend of educator and personality. I can't believe I'm still up but I had to watch it live..

Way to GO RON.... You more than lived up to my expectation....

Haha, I love the goofy smile/shaking hands with the Sex Pistols at the end.

Oh, and YOUTUBE LDO.

It was great. I especially loved his humble, down-to-earth demeanor, not that it was unusual for him.

I also loved the Sex Pistols singing "Anarchy" and calling out to Dr. Paul.

Yeah He goes HEY RON PAUL when are you going to get us out of IRAQ?

Wow. What an interview. If that interview doesn't get potential supporters curious enough to look into Ron Paul views, I don't know what will. Way to go, Congressman Paul.

Did he give shout out to Paul during the song???

Yes.

he said "Hi Mr. Paul" or something like that and then something about Iraq.

Ron Paul shaking hands with Johnny Rotten is reason enough to vote for him. That was AWESOME!!!

10-30-2007, 10:39 PM
yeah I don't know about that, I thought he was probably trying to be like arrrrrr I'm anarchy and you are a fuckin politician. Of course johny rotten is a fuckin' tard still playing the same music after 90 years. But yes paul was and will always be the man :)

edit: but I could be mistaken and maybe he does like paul.... I didn't hear him say anything about iraq though, maybe thats why.

I don't know what ron paul and anarchy have in common though.

Yeah, and no small coincidence that the Tom Cruise movie clip was all "the Iraq War was a mistake" conversation between a reporter and Senator.

This was all lined up thematically. Thanks, Leno!

Johnny Rotten was also a fan of Harry Browne and had his picture taken with Harry in 2000. I remember Harry writing about it in his campaign journal: "He seemed perfectly nice, for a man with spiked hair" or something like that.

I think the flower bomb helped out! That was way too much political talk in that show for just Ron Paul to be coincidence. I think The Tonight Show liked him!

I know this is waaaaaay too early but the way we're all writing with the feeling of excitement in the air... I feel like I'm the locker room of a professional baseball team after we won the world series. Only more celebratory. I feel like popping off some champaigne.

What are we going to do with all of our spare time if he wins the general election and becomes President?

Seriously. I don't remember what I did with my free time before I began this crusade.

RP is far closer to an anarchist than he could possibly ever admit and still run for president...

nah he is far from it. A true republican like ron paul has been around for a long time and has been preaching the same thing he has. it's just been in reasant years that the neocons have been preaching these things about hatered and war. I've been republican since I could vote all because of people like him and how they where so differant than democrats. Now neocons and dems are all the same and true conservative republicans happen to stand out more because they are differant in such a possitive way.

Isn't liberty, self-government and self-determination the closest you can get to anarchy while still having some government? That's how I look at it, and Ron Paul knows anarchists love him.

For good reason. There's nothing hypocritical about trying to help change the world so people can be more free.

RJB
10-30-2007, 11:21 PM
Paul is not an anarchist. Neocons are anarchist. Neocons govern by no law. Ron Paul wants to reinstitute the constitution as the highest law of the land ending political anarchy in DC.
