Great Spirit in the Forums Tonight :D :D

We're awesome.

There was a $30k mass money bomb donation, our people took over a MSNBC democratic debate crowd shot and the good doctor did well on Jay Leno.

It's been a very good day.

i don't understand why the percentages aren't higher... i mean i understand donations not having full participation but our group is putting signs out or holding banners and signs every week and sometimes several times a week. Even an hour every weekend handing out flyers or holding a sign on the corner is helpful

All the above plus petition signatures, started a meetup group in my town, and help out with 3 other meetup groups in the area.

Anyone who hasn't, now is the time to put your feet where your mouth is.

Order slim jims from Ron Paul's official campaign store, or get them from your local meetup or state HQ.

Take 1 day this weekend to get out on the streets in your town and distribute them. It is very very easy and it is the most important thing you can do.

Let me explain how this works if you are nervous. You just walk up to the house, knock, and if there is no answer you put the slim jim flyer between the screen door and the house door and move on. If someone answers the door you just tell them that you are volunteering for Congressman Ron Paul's campaign for President and hand them the flyer. Tell them to sign up on the website to get more information, including information on your state's primary or caucus.

You don't have to get into a debate on any issues if you don't want to, and in fact you will cover more ground if you don't.

99% of your encounters will be completely positive.

Please send for or pickup a stack of slim jims and commit to going out in your town this weekend! If you pass out 500 and even 5 new people donate because of it, you will be doing a HUGE thing for the campaign, more than you can ever do on the internet.

We need 90% passing out literature. 65% is not enough. This is the most important thing any of us can do as core supporters. Our most important function is to expand the donor and volunteer base.

Go to http://www.ronpaul2008store.com/servlet/StoreFront. Order a bumper sticker for your car or bicycle. Order at least 500 slim jims. If you can afford to eat out twice this month, then you can afford to order 500 slim jims. These are the flyers you hand out door to door and leave stacks of in places.

If you absolutely can not afford the cost of these materials and are living off of ramen, then contact your local meetup group or your state HQ and they will be able to provide literature for you.

We will win or lose based on whether each and every one of us get out at least 1 day this next month, if at all possible at least 1 day each week, and distribute literature. This is it folks. We have a little over 1 month left and the task before us is unprecedented. It's time to put our feet where our keyboards are!

Slim Jims are great, of course! I also highly recommend Ron Paul Cards (http://www.ronpaulcards.com/) or Liberty Cards (http://www.libertytalk.com/liberty_card_ftl_banner.php). I sprinkle these babies all over the place. Leave one for your waitress at a restaurant, in the bathroom mirrors (or someplace that isn't a disgusting part of the bathroom), credit card slots at gas pumps, car windows, etc. Use your imagination.

Now is a great time to get out there. The Leno show is fresh in people minds.

Here is a pic from the neighborhood I knocked doors. I just had to leave a sticker on this post...
