I need a Photoshop-er to make this image into a printable sheet. It will be posted to the FB page to promote the "Tip Bomb."
Basically, ppl cut out the little info card and leave it when they leave a tip somewhere letting them know Ron Paul supports them keeping their hard-earned tip income.

I'd really appreciate the help! So would RP.

I love this idea! Dropping these in every check is an awesome way to spread the word

I'm pretty sure a lot of places don't tax tips.. I know at the coffee shop I frequent, they literally empty the jar at the end of the shift and split it.

The point is about income tax. Currently, tips have to be declared as income and federal tax has to be paid. That's what meant by "keep the tip"... that the government now gets a piece of the action and RP supports ending this practice (taxing tips).

The IRS estimates tips and the servers are liable for them. Even worse, the estimates are based on location, so if you work in a greasy spoon, nearby a 5 star, your tips are based on an avg and you end up paying a greater percentage than the guy at the 5 star. And in the digital age...

A good soundbite we use is:

"I can give $13,000 as a gift to a stranger, tax free, but I can't even give you a buck without the government sticking its hand in"

Waited a lot of tables in my day, the typical way it is addressed is they take tax as if you were tipped 8% of your sales assuming you don't claim that you made more.
