I just read this article:

I guess Fox is hosting a debate here in Orlando on the 22nd, and CPAC will be holding their first regional straw poll/conference the day after. If anyone is planning to attend and needs somewhere to stay let me know. I have space for 10... 15... hell just stuff em in there.

Is anyone organizing a presence at the straw poll?

It looks like it is right in the middle of Presidency 5

The American Conservative Union will announce today that it plans to hold the first regional Conservative Political Action Conference this fall in Orlando, potentially making “CPAC FL” a key stop in the 2012 presidential primaries.

ACU will host the event on Sept. 23, a day after the Fox News debate in Orlando and in the middle of the Republican Party of Florida’s Presidency 5 summit. The national conservative group has already invited the announced presidential candidates to participate, along with Sunshine State GOP rock stars Marco Rubio and Allen West.

It remains to be seen how many of the Republican presidential candidates will sign up for Presidency 5: Mitt Romney has already opted out of the straw poll there, while Jon Huntsman has committed to participating. The CPAC FL event could benefit from having several White House hopefuls already in the state.

In order to attend the debate and vote in the straw poll, you must be chosen as a Presidency 5 delegate at your county caucus and pay $175. The county caucus times are listed here (http://www.presidency5.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Presidency-5-Caucus-Dates14.jpg). If you are in Orlando, your county caucus has passed but some counties could not fill their delegate positions because not enough people showed up. If you are interested in attending the debate and the straw poll, you should email your county GOP and ask if there are still open delegate positions for Presidency 5.
