Every candidate's response must be in 120 words or less.

Hmmm... just like every other debate, then?

I doubt this will get any attention.

Even if it doesn't I hope RP still does it. I wonder how many candidates won't even type in the answers themselves.

Yeah, this seems like a non-event. Twitter is not hosting it.. it's sponsored by RLC. Nonetheless, Ron Paul, King of the interwebz, should be doing it. Cain and Bachmann are.

Maybe it will wake the Tea Party up to who is the favorite candidate.

Hopefully Paul will answer and not someone like who does his Facebook page.

Check out http://140townhall.com/.

It's sponsored by TheTeaParty.net and DickMorris.com. It will be moderated by Dick Morris via Twitter (you can ask questions and candidates will respond via Twitter). Bachmann and Cain have agreed to participate.

Totally. It wouldn't be hard to find someone who is diehard Ron Paul, facts, grammar, and Facebook.

Ron has yet to respond to their invitation as of 5 days ago. Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, McCotter, Pawlenty and Santorum have all agreed to participate.

If it's Twitter, then we can dominate it.

I want to ask all the candidates if they will commit to ending all foreign aid to all countries that provide government paid or subsidized abortions.

Absolutely this should be done. It's a great chance to pick up a lot of follows on Twitter. Should use youtube video links for the answers! And I'm pretty sure it's the Collins doing all the new media stuff since his facebook does say "New Media Manager".

Are you guys kidding? It's hard to get a one minute answer out of Ron, much less 140 characters. I find it unlikely he's ever used twitter in his life.

And if someone else 'speaks for him' that has dangers as well. I'd say let the campaign decide this one, personally.

And Dick Morris hates Ron.

Dick Morris doesn't hate Ron Paul he said very nice things about him last debate. Quit being victims dammit we're front runners this time around not everybody likes a winner.

I don't think Dick Morris would say anything rude about Ron Paul during this Twitter debate, if he did, could you imagine the Twitter wrath @DickMorris ?

This will be interesting. Ron Paul 2012 !!

Amazing. A guy who made headlines for NOT being able to get along with a single fellow member of the GOP is being entrusted to get along with all of them now?

S.E. Cupp and Rusty Humprhies replaced Dick Morris a couple weeks ago.

What's the deal with this? Is Ron Paul in or what? It wouldn't be that hard to participate since someone with him could just read the answer and he could say a quick answer.

I'd personally think a live ustream show of Ron answering the questions would kill it. We'd have the viral aspect of uStream's social chat box. Along with the fact that I'm almost positive none of the other campaigns would take that much effort. We're going to have to go above and beyond to win this election and that means giving double the effort and 10x the smarts.

And it's the day after the money bomb. What great timing that would make!

The environment is his niche, the content limit is the restriction.

He can't talk in a twitter update fashion because he communicates in a philosophical, complex fashion.

It would help with his weakness at creating soundbytes, but ultimately, this will only help him if he does it.

PS: Any word on his participation?

PS: Any word on his participation?

As of 7/15, Ron Paul has not accepted the invitation.

What's interesting though is that the Ron Paul campaign is a paid sponsor of TheTeaParty.net according to this:
