View Full Version : Any ideas on how I can stand a sign on my parked car's roof?

So if I go somewhere and park my car I can take the sign out and stick it on my roof and come back to take it down rinse and repeat. I'm thinking I might have to rig a suction cup apparatus or something. If you have any ideas let me know. It's an 18x24 chloroplast sign.

Thanks.

You could always just have one of these made up. It might be cheaper than building your own frame and attaching it to your car top.

Good luck keeping that from getting stolen/vandalized.

Suction cups leave marks.

Elastic straps. Use plastic feet, which won't stick and leave marks, and straps on each side so you can close (and lock) one in each door.

That same site offers anti-theft cords:

I always used a roof rack like this: http://www.discountramps.com/car-top-carrier.htm?CAWELAID=362299703&gclid=CLy96Pa11qkCFQbe4Aod8F5XNA
