LOL. Were you looking for the white robes and pointy hats? (Actually I was looking for that too. :o) And the "we're not racists" quote doesn't surprise me. I hear it all the time these days from people who really are racist but don't want to deal with the negative stigma. In a way I miss the "good ole days" where racists were proud to be racists. At least there was no confusion over where people stood.

In a way I miss the "good ole days" where racists were proud to be racists. At least there was no confusion over where people stood.

actually the only reason people had balls back then was because it was the norm, the only reason people are not screaming their true racial feelings is because it isn't normal to see or hear anymore SO they do it indoors.

It LOOKED like people showed you where they stood but even then those so called proud to be racists back then were the ones with white hoods and hell they were even so scared to get recognized they even put a hoody on their horses as well. lol

I'm going to have to kick myself, but I agree with at least this much from the Westboro Baptist church crowd....

Miss Phelps said the three protesters from the controversial church were there to tell people they should not "idolise" the dead, especially those who died for an ‘unrighteous cause’.


The cause is unrighteous. And we shouldn't idolize the dead from these wars. We shouldn't spit on their graves either like the WBs do, but I cringe at church when someone says "Let's pray for these soldiers who are keeping us safe." Baloney! We'd be more safe if they were home instead of going around the world stirring up hatred in these senseless wars. Right now we are aiding Al Qaeda in Libya. How does that keep us safe? How does U.S. soldiers guarding opium fields in Afghanistan keep us safe? And you know what? I here this "there keeping us safe" crap from people who I know are against these wars, or at least were against them when Bush was in power. I know the antiwar crowd doesn't want to repeat the "baby killer" scenes from Vietnam, but there has to be some kind of balance. We're almost encouraging kids to sign up and go off to their deaths through our unclear messages.

What's so much more grotesque; a group who, if they had the governments monopoly in their hands, would enslave, torture and possibly kill people of certain racial backgrounds or beliefs, or those, who armed with the same perverse power, would enslave and torture - and kill - all those who would have 'too much money'? Both 'groups' have a bonding moment; both believe fundamentally in the same means to their end - violence through government. As long as there is a monopoly provider of security and justice for them to capture, they will seek it and use it to do great injustice and destruction to the security of all - wholesale. The way the structure is currently built lets them attain it and abuse it with slight inconvenience.

If National Socialism is what we hate, then let us hate it, Stalinist communism too, But, we can't wipe the sh*t from our eyes in these examples with out clearing them completely: socialism, in its two previously mentioned forms, is the 'too big to fail model' taken logically to it's end. Whats more , like the last few exit signs in our headlights, the time is at hand by which we must make our decisions to turn, when we still can, or arrive at a destination we will find very difficult to leave.

When the welfare state fails us in the worst ways, which it has and will, do we back away when crises demands its liquidation, do we let it fail? Or, do we march forward to peek over the grave yard gates that we have mistakenly been told are pearly white. It remains to be seen, I hope we make the proper course correction.

There is a town near me called Westboro and i think they have a batpist church. Hopefully they are not ever confused with these characters.
