Rex Rammell Faces Felony Jury Tampering Charge
Politician Rex Rammell is facing new charges that he tried to tamper with the jury in his upcoming trial on charges of illegal possession of a hunted elk.
Bonneville County prosecutor Bruce Pickett said Rammell tried to influence jurors outside of the normal courtroom proceedings.
Pickett said Rammell handed out fliers outside the Bonneville County Courthouse in April talking about the “secret power of the jury.”
If convicted of the felony charge, the former Idaho gubernatorial candidate faces up to five years in prison and a $50,000 fine.
