On now
Obama is taking credit for ending his first term with basically as many troops there as when he started. That, and this speech could have been written by Bush's writers.

And then there is Ron Paul's viewpoint:

“We'll have less danger to us if we don't occupy foreign countries, because that's the top motivation for the desire to come here and kill Americans -- is because we've invaded their land,” Paul said. “What if another country did that to us? Every American would be together. If the Chinese did to us what we do to other countries, no American would say, ‘Aw, that's okay, they're nice people. Maybe we can learn their culture and their religion.’ It would be insane.”

I'm just going to get it out of the way early.
Obama is full of it, and people are actually buying into this farce.

Obama has looked soulless for quite a while now. Hollowed and sunken eyes. He's either thinking ''Man, I am so full of shit and I hope these people forgive me" or "This job sucks. I hate these assholes (the ones really running the show)".

We're winning! The President basically said "Look, people, we can't do it Ron Paul's way, or things will go kaboom!" M'Kay?" on National TV. If Ron won the nomination, I think we would be in for some of the most entertaining presidential debates ever.

Obama has the same speech every single time. "This guy, ______________________, represents the best of America. _______________. It's a lesson we should all remember". "And Mary Kate from ____________________ was absolutley correct when she told me about her brother, ________________". Uggh. Makes me sick. Ron Paul never does that. Would Ron even read from a teleprompter if he were President?

Thanks for the stats. I wonder if the number of contractors increased or decreased.

He also talked about America's founding principles...being the global protector of freedom.

Anyone have a quote of Madison espousing this principle?

What about private armed contractors?

The generals probably want to add 10,000 troops. As with the troop surge, Obama will probably meet them halfway between -10,000 and +10,000 and withdraw 0.

320 million a month spent on private contractors...heard on fox

I feel that this troop reduction will be a smoke and mirrors production and there will be a turn of events soon to prevent this so called draw down.

Anybody else notice that he was wearing his noble peace prize around his neck? Maybe I had too much to drink.

He didn't actually say Ron Paul...he said isolationism.
