Read from bottom to top, it was a live blog:
12:18 p.m. One Exeter resident just said he doesn't know anything about Huntsman and wanted to come down here to find out. Said he got a call from a campaign worker asking him to come down.
12:12 p.m. At Ron Paul's announcement for president at Exeter Town Hall last month, people packed the first floor and second floors. Paul's podium took up a small section of the main stage.
12:11 p.m. It looks like the campaign may have expected a smallish crowd. Nearly all of the first floor of Town Hall is reserved for the podium, a band, and press. Supporters are sitting upstairs, where there's less room for seating.
12:09 p.m. People are starting to slowly fill in. There's about 50 non-campaign people inside right now.
and then later:
1:33 p.m. Campaign played a pre-recorded version of the National Anthem. Doesn't have the same effect as a person singing it live. We remember 12-year-old Mollie Brown's stirring rendition at Exeter Town Hall last month for Ron Paul's announcement.
To clarify, by the end there were about 150 noncampaign people after the campaign workers apparently called people and asked them to come down....
Here's the blog, again it has to be read from the bottom, up.
