I helped out at our Ron Paul booth at my local county fair today. I'm feeling down because the fair wasn't too busy and hardly anybody even came by the booth. I could use some good RP stories right now.

People won't come to you - you must go to them.

I bought a 6ft x 3ft Ron Paul 2012 Banner that I will be sporting near a busy road at rush hour as soon as I get it in the mail. I am excited. :)

When Congress wanted to give Mother Theresa an honorary award and medal for her humanitarian efforts, Ron Paul stood alone against spending the people's money to fund this. He happily offered to donate to this fund with his own money but Congress didn't want to have any of that. This is one of many many Ron Paul's stories where he often stands alone against the entire house to fight for the people and expects nothing in return for it, this is why he is known as the Maverick. The Mavs are champs and so is our good Doctor.

Only activists will come to the booth. You need to get some slim jims, smile, put on a Ron Paul tshirt and go up to people. Just hand them the slim jim or even tell them you are from the Ron Paul campaign and ask them if they have any questions...if you sit there looking all bored who would want to talk to you???

I'm pretty sure it was Rosa Parks. I also love this about Ron!

We set up a booth at the local farmers market and was approached by a gentleman who told me that he was a democrat but found some of Ron Paul's rhetoric appealing. He said that while he may agree with him, he would never vote for him because he has no chance "in hell" of winning and it is a vote wasted. I said "so your willing to compromise your conscience to vote for the lesser of evils" which made him get amplified. Maybe not the right thing to say but I tend to be an intense debater. He then preceded to try to convince me that he is making the moral decision by voting the lesser of evils because he may have an effect on certain principles that he valued while mine is being thrown away. With every one of those principles there was a sort of socialist mind state to which I responded with a typical Ron Paul response and ended it with your wiling to give way to much power to people we agree you can't trust. He then eventually came back sort of irritated with "man, everybody is corrupt in one way or another. You are fighting a system that you can't win. The best you can do is just play along and hope for the best. What makes you think that all this work your doing is going to pay off and not just be a waste of time and energy". I looked him right in the eye and said, "they may win". "They may force my kids to fight wars for their corporations. They may take every cent I have and spend it killing everybody in the world they want to kill but... God damn it will be over my dead body". He was taken back by my intensity and then set their thinking for a several seconds, then chuckled and said "damn, you changed my mind". The week after he dropped by the booth and said he sent a donation in to Ron's campaign and to keep up the good work.

I will tell you that I spent a lot of time trying to convince people to believe in Ron. I had way too many failures but it was those few sweet successes that made it worth it. Most of the time I sat with other supporters debating. lol. Still had fun otherwise.

Yesterday a man saw my Ron Paul sign out front of my house. I was at work at the time but my dad was home. The man gave my dad a handful of Ron Paul bumperstickers! Now my whole family has RP bumper stickers.

Once a little girl was on her way to her grandma's house. She had to walk through the dark and spooky forest. Suddenly, a wolf jumped out from the brush and growled hungrily at the girl.
"GRAAAAWWWRRR!!"
She shrieked and dropped her gift basket of golden apples she was bringing to Grandma. As the wolf was about to strike, a large figure emerged from behind a tree and without saying a word, beat the living fuck out of the wolf. The wolf died in agony.
"Wha wha what are you?" she asked her stealthy but timely savior.
"I'm a Ron Paul. If anyone ever tries to hurt you again, shout "END THE FED!" and I'll come lickity split and fuck shit up."
"Hell yea, playa!", the girl responded as she picked up her golden apples and put them back in the basket.
She continued on to her Grandma's house where she told her everything that had happened in the forest. Her grandmother responded...

"POPPYCOCK!!! Always obey the wolves!!"

"END THE FED!" the girl screamed.
