OK, three articles to go over here.

The first makes the case that cops are way too trigger happy when they want to, and hang back when they feel like it.

It concerns a 130 lb. Pit Bull that attacked it's owner, broke both his arms, did severe damage, cops were told by the owner to put the dog down asap.

Now, you would figure that would be enough to unholster your sidearm and put an obviously dangerous dog down.

Nope, they hang back and wait for an "animal control officer".

This next story is not so clear cut, seems like a pretty aggressive dog, and bit another cop previously.

This one isn't very clear either, facts are disputed between cops and citizens.

The man told police Thursday night's incident was the second time in four months his dog had attacked him and broken his arm.
