Is anyone seeing this on Hannity? Luntz's focus group is giving big ratings and hands up to Rand on his discussion of spending and the debt!

Amazing, amazing!:p

Rand is a political giant. Luntz has stated this months before. I love Ron to death, but Rand is a master communicator.

Well, hopefully this positive feeling displayed on Hannity will convert into support for his dad.

The interesting thing is that if Rand runs in 2016 he will have an incredible shot at winning.

The more Rand is on, the better it is. Heck, half of the people who vote just vote by name recognition. PAUL.

They love that in the senate or the HOuse, it is why Ron is on Fox news so much. Would they root for him in a presidential election? We'll find out in 2016 if Ron doesn't make it this time.

Not if an establishment Republican is elected in 2012.

By 2016 the sheeple will want an establishment Democrat.

we'll probably find out either way.

Yeah, but if Ron is only going to stay in one term, and you are likely right about that, he really should think of Rand as VP. but......that discussion is for another day.

If we have 4 more years of Obama, you can be assured that there will be a Randslide in 2016.

If we elect an establishment Republican, there is less a chance of a Randslide, but it is still a possibility in 2020.

If Ron wins, there may be a Randslide in 2016 anyway.

The future points to Rand Paul. People can feel it. The Democrats feel it because they attack him relentlessly. Establishment Republicans feel it because they know Ron Paul has changed the entire national debate.

I'm saying it right now, Rand Paul is a better communicator than Ronald Reagan. We are going to look back and call Rand Paul the greatest communicator. I really believe it.

If an establishment Republican gets elected, I'll be happy if we still have elections in 2020.

Rand's delivery isn't on par with Reagan's as of yet. But he does hypnotize the audience with his colorful historical anecdotes like Reagan did.

Anyway, Rand is deserving of a prime time speaking slot at the Republican convention, but I have my suspicions that Rubio will be given that honor.

Who is Rubio? Oh, you mean the guy who never makes any news at all. Oh yeah. He will surely get a primetime slot from the establishment.

He will be the next Republican President. I love Ron to death, but he just isn't the communicator we need. No excuse to stop trying though. But I honestly see Obama winning a second term over an establishment shill, the GOP will keep the house but lose seats, and the GOP will pick up 2-5 seats in the Senate. It will be a boring election like 1996. Four more years of stagnation and depression. We need to fight like hell for Ron now to pave the way for Rand in four years.

After another historic round of pickups for the Tea Party/Liberty movement in 2014, with Rand acting like kingmaker for many GOP primaries, his position will be set. Nothing will be able to stop him then. I hope the Dems nominate Klobuchar so I can see her stomped by Rand in 40+ states. (It's a personal thing; I can't stand her) The excitement the GOP base will make the party look like it was asleep in 1964 and 1980. It will be a Reaganesque victory. Hopefully there will be GOP supermajorities in Congress. I'd make repealing the 16th and 17th amendments priority #1.

An Obama second term will pull the proverbial rubberband holding the remnants of our republic together, that much further back, almost to the point of snapping. The only natural course of action to relieve this unbearable social tension is too nominate the very opposite of Obama. Enter Rand Paul.

For 2012? I agree and I think he could win the nomination. I mean Ron could make a dramatic step down and say he's just too old and Rand is going to run in his place, but it just isn't going to happen I fear.

I am sure that they have this particular back up plan though JIC.
