It was a great speech, and great to be there. It was the right message for the audience. He went in deep into some content. Get here if you still can.

This is an amazing speech! Seriously...one of Paul's best and clearest explanations of liberty and our current problems. Spread this video around!

It was well targeted at his GOP critics, and he nailed it. Add in the solid support base there and it sends a clear message. Again... and that is what is needed. We are here, we have the answers, and we are not going away.

This is brilliant. If Ron can keep delivering like this, we're gold. He was on fire!

I think this is hands down one of his best, most coherent speeches I've ever heard him give.

Couldn't ask for a better reception either!

its really annoying when "us" (RP supporters) do the End the Fed chants. They really make me cringe, and do nothing but harm (imho).

Money quote on foreign policy:
One thing that I encourage people to do, especially when they question some of the things I say, that we shouldn't do this, we shouldn't do that: always put it in light of sort of a foreign policy Golden Rule. What would we think if people did that to us? Nobody else even comes close.

That's a terrible transcription. Only someone that knows Dr Paul can transcribe a speech.

I agree. Make us look, disruptive and aggressive, particularly to older folks that are there...it doesn't help..these are NOT Ron Paul Rallies...where they are appropriate!

I missed this, thanks for posting.

I agree that the "End the Fed" chanting was pretty annoying- they kept it up too long.

I think they're GREAT, I think it brings more attention to the Fed, I mean those who don't know would at least wonder what it's about & may be look up a little about Fed; I think it's definitely better than Ron having to plug Fed into every issue.

Believe it or not, many here neither know how to win or actually want to win.

I agree. "Inside voices" so to speak. There is a difference between a rally just for Ron and a convention where Ron is sharing time and audiences with a number of others and is reasoning with them. That goes for booing, as well.

Alot of positive comments from users here. I don't feel confident about this speech at all. I felt like it was all over the place and incoherent to the average person. These are important events, and im hoping for better/clearer discussion as the campaign progresses.

I agree with you. Saw all the positive comments here, and I was prepared to be blown away, but that didn't happen. The speech transcript is better than watching it. He makes lots of fits and starts and corrects himself mid-word. He said the year 1907 when he meant 2007. The ideas are near perfect, but the delivery is not. Parts came across as if he didn't practice it or forgot some of it. If he is fortunate enough to win the nomination, he will be going up against one of the most polished teleprompter-readers of all time. The attack dogs will use his delivery as a sign of being too old for office.

I think maybe he's going to practice now, since the campaign hired Doug Wead. I think all the others stealing HIS lines and getting kudos for it at the NH debate might have struck home.
