A source sends over crosstabs from the NH Journal poll we posted this morning that provide a snapshot of unaffiliated voters, who made up 26 percent of the survey sample. This group looks a bit different from primary voters in general but only a bit.

The main takeaway: While Mitt Romney still leads with independents, his advantage is notably smaller. Ron Paul fares 4 points better with independents than with all GOP primary voters. Jon Huntsman doubles his support going from 3 percent to 6 percent.
Heres how independents shake out (results for all primary voters are in parentheses):
Romney 32 percent with independents (42 percent in full sample)
Paul 14 percent (10)
Bachmann 11 percent (10)
Palin 9 percent (7)
Giuliani 7 percent (6)
Pawlenty 6 percent (5)
Huntsman 6 percent (3)
Gingrich 3 percent (4)
Cain 2 percent (3)
Santorum 1 percent (2)
Undecided 10 percent (8)
