Buffoon Michael Hayden (former Director of the NSA and CIA) argues that there should be no consideration of troop withdrawals until after the "2012 fighting season." He tells us to "give war a chance." Meanwhile, dual citizen Michael Chertoff tells us that a "premature withdrawal from Pakistan is fundamentally problematic for American national interests." When I first read this ridiculous stuff, I thought it was satire . . . but as near as I can tell from the HuffPost article, these guys actually said such things.

Can anybody tell me when we went to war with Pakistan?

I mean, seriously, where is the legal justification for this conflict?

Was some "authorization of force" legislation signed way back when authorizing the president to invade anywhere he damn well feels like?

Life sure is cheap to these bastards.

Gave it a chance. We're broke, a generaton has PTSD, the world hates us, we're fighting for oil yet the price keeps going up, we're fighting for the petrodollar but we're having to trash it to pay for the wars, we're broke. Been there, done that. It sucks.

I liked peace better.

Oh, and obviously they missed the last 10 years when we've been at war continuously. As Mr. Cain said, "How's that workin' for ya?"
