Poll was conducted June 9-13 with 290 registered voters who would vote in the Republican primary.

Romney – 30%
Palin – 14%
Cain – 12%
Perry – 8%
Paul – 7%
Gingrich – 6%
Pawlenty – 4%
Santorum – 4%
Bachmann – 3%
Huntsman – 1%


Six Candidates Only:

Romney – 43%
Bachmann – 11%
Paul – 11%
Santorum – 9%
Gingrich – 8%
Pawlenty – 7%

OK, I'm used to you not putting Ron's numbers in the heading when they are lousy, so I had already braced myself, but when you don't even put in a LINK....

They polled 1,000 adults but only 29% said they would vote in the Republican primary so the sample size seems rather small for a national GOP primary poll.

Dang. Perry is statistically tied, but psychologically leading.

Dang, Bachmann picks up a lot if Palin and Perry don't run....

Well heck, Dr. Paul is tied for second in the more limited field as in this poll, and that was taken before his strong debate performance on Monday. This is very encouraging to me!

I've seen more people at the county G.O.P. convention.
