If Ron Paul were to become President, what cabinet position would be ideal for Dennis Kucinich?

Can't stand Kucinich on 90% of the issues, but he is one of the few staunch, unpartisan, anti-interventionists in office. Major props to him for that.

If Ron Paul were to become President, what cabinet position would be ideal for Dennis Kucinich?

Probably none because what RP would is, I think, eliminate cabinet positions.

State probably although the GOP would throw a major hissy fit if they got behind Paul and then had Paul appoint one of the biggest socialists out there to ANY position. I'm sure there are just as solid anti-interventionists out there who don't carry the baggage Kucinich does.

is he a consistent non-interventionism? or is he sometimes in favor of "humanitarian" wars?

No he's as consistent as Dr. Paul. Unfortunately he's atrocious on economic issues. And most "mainstream" Republicans, the type we need to win over, absolutely detest him.

When Dr. Paul is elected president and Kucinich is force out of congress due to redistricting I would not be too surprised if he found a position for him in his cabinet. As for what position, I have no idea.

Not all have to go. State, Treasury, Defense, and Attorney General can stay. The rest should go although I would consider it a major accomplishment if we could get 3-5 eliminated.

He is also atrocious on the 2nd amendment.

Foreign policy isn't the only good thing about Kucinich. He was also a solid Nay vote on TARP and PATRIOT Act and a Yea vote on the Fed Audit bill.

Those four things do it for me. I'm a fan of Kucinich.

Secretary of State Kucinich would make a major stink about the US not going onto Darfur or some situation like that, so I don't think he is a non-interventionist.

Then Kucinich isn't really good on foreign policy either.

I am very optimistic about Kucinich and Co. taking the Obama Admin to court over Libya. Every step we can take to uphold the Constitution and put the establishment in check is a great one.

Dennis Kucinich, while nodding at everything Rand Paul said, was absolutley thinking "Ron, your boy is skilled. Mad props, bro". Also, I'm not sure but at one point, Kucinich was so pissed off that he basically said "the 2012 election can change on this, because the democrats who voted for change haven't gotten it" or something like this. For a second, I thought he was threatening to endorse Ron Paul and become RP's Joe Lieberman. LOL. Rand was fantastic and is so smooth with the answers after only a few months in the Senate. The Maddow interview was the greatest thing that ever happened to him when you think about it, and prepared him for everything since then.

Secretary of State. His foreign policy is right there with Dr Paul.
