I remembered seeing a youtube of Ron Paul saying that we need young people and music. As I've been listening to one of my favorite bands over the last year, more and more I feel like it's deep lyrics have a lot to do with our struggle and hints at liberty. I felt like sharing and asking if anyone knows any great LIBERTY music to share as well?

Be advised, this music is not for the faint of heart. :D

Scar Symmetry - Ghost Prototype II (Deus Ex Machina)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SV9o3FTpAf0
in part...

And then we found it all, caged inside a dream. All-seeing eye sees afloat. Soon it will see no more.
A holographic world-view, Existence in display where everything must work as one and never break in two. This concept lives forever outside all state control and ever-shedding skin.
All things new are fought against even though their time has come. Stretch and reach to conscious mind. Seek defeat in those who fear.
For we will not conform. We're ghosts in the machine.

Scar Symmetry - Slaves to the Subliminal

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrJmttR9BQw
in part...

Eyes transfixed at flashing visuals. Looking without seeing. Subject for subliminal attacks, subconscious registrations.
Efficient manipulation methods, the embedded distorters. One step in the mass hypnosis on a monumental scale.
Vile embrace of the one who beholds, robbed of thoughts and of feelings.
Draining dry the very mind, all we know is what they show. Never seen the chains that bind. Lies enslave you.
Registrations that will burn our spirits hollow. Making sure the blind stays blind.

Scar Symmetry - Pitch Black Progress

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fygAeSDwaRs
in part...

This landscape mechanical. Well-oiled black machinery. Bio-driven computers programmed for slave labor. For slave labor.
Structure made in urban design kills the evolution of the mind. Marching on a dead end path with misplaced concentration.
It's a pitch-black progress. It's a dead end process.
It's a pitch-black progress. No more, no less.
Digital temples monitor the population.
Supplying the masses with what they see fit.
Programming digital dreams for the consumers.
A zombie nation devoid of improvisation.

Most of their material is either scifi based or political (mostly reflecting on social engineering), frequently both. Other great songs along these lines are Mind Machine, The Veil of Illusions, Seeds of Rebellion, Morphogenesis and Fear Catalyst. I haven't listened much to their fourth album.

Anyone else have some samples of possible LIBERTY music (or just music that relates to our struggle)? I much prefer metal, but I can enjoy almost anything (good) except rap and country.

Breaking the Silence
Killswitch Engage

As I live and breathe
I'm watching, watching the world die
We greet this with apathy no longer

Consumed by self
We walk through each day
With no mind to deprivation and moral decay

We must destroy and rebuild
We must destroy and rebuild
For the sake of all, it starts with one
With one

As I live and breathe
I'm watching, watching the world die
We greet this with apathy no longer

If we cant break the silence (how can we survive?)
Search inside yourself (and know that you're alive)
We must break the silence
Now we are alive
Silent no longer

Make this world, take notice
The change is in our hands
The battle has just begun
We are not defeated

If we cant break the silence (how can we survive?)
Search inside yourself (and know that you're alive)
We must break the silence
Now we are alive
Silent no longer

With all that I am
I will lift my voice
To start this revolution
It starts today
And it starts with me
Time is no longer

With all I am
I will lift my voice
With all I am
It starts with me

Break the silence [3X]
We are alive
Break the silence [3X]
We are alive

"Snooze Button"

Well, it's just another song
Talkin' about how you let them take your rights
Another redundant verse about how you refused to fight & lost
What cost? Your cause has got no champion
How could you hope to win? By just complaining
Now it's raining on you parade
Decisions made could cost you dearly
Not just your money but your freedom
Are you wealthy improper choices could be deadly
They took your so-called rights
You didn't even fight
Well, here's your motherfuckin' wake up call
& there just ain't no way around it
Caught you asleep once again & we ain't havin' it
Got freedumb for you to do just what they tell you
You missed that train of thought
You refuse to be taught a lesson
Now this is what I'm guessing
You'll be held accountable
The things you didn't want to know
You're stressin'
Now with your mind they keep messin'
They took your so-called rights, you didn't even fight
While you were busy fuckin' sleepin'
You know your government was creepin'
Somebody left the door unlocked while you were asleep
Your life was bought & sold, yes, to the highest bidder
Left you in sitcom hell
So convinced you're doing well
You sit back synapses are attacked
American gladiators are the only thing they're given' back
You're dying & in your mind, while they keep lying,
They took your so-called rights
You didn't even fight
Now that we've given you this message you've got a mess
But you can salvage, continue to grow
& soon you'll know that little things in life can make a difference
You don't got to be some politician
Take back those given rights
Stand up & join the fight

Tell all the people who believe what they read in the press
Tell all the folk who stare from behind suburban walls
The enemy is not some nation far across the sea
The enemy is with us every single breathing day

Chorus:
So yes, I will fight for my country
The land that I love so well
Yes - for justice, a land fit for all our futures
Yes, I will fight for my country
The land that I love so well
Hear the voices of our history echo all around

Fight all the ones who divide us rich against poor
Fight all the ones who divide us white against black
Fight all the powers who want their missiles in our earth
Fight all the people who would lead us into war
No rights were ever given to us by the grace of God

No rights were ever given by some United Nations clause
No rights were ever given by some nice guy at the top
Our rights they were bought by all the blood
And all the tears of all our
Grandmothers, grandfathers before
For all the folk who gave their lives for us
For all the folk who spit out - never say die
For all the fires burning on our highest hills
For all the people spinning tales tonight
Fight all the powers who would abuse our Common Laws
Fight all the powers who think they only owe themselves . . .
