I wish he would have gone for the amount of years he's been married (and to the same woman...) as well as his veteran status.

He also didn't seem very upbeat. Hopefully that changes. He may have just been concentrating on his sentences, since you only have a few.

First good laugh goes to RP!

yep pointed that out. Bachmann got the first audience respones, but RP got the quickest response. This is important because that impression is going to stick in people's minds first. think about this point. i hope someone else noticed the same.

IMO, because of this laugh, this first laugh and a quicker first audience response, rp has already won the debate.

few notes,

I wish the moderator would stop mubling in the m\ic as the questions are being answered, and...

Romney's comedy act isn't going over to well..

Again, save the best for last on the second question.

Newt focused on actually what it take to win power

Kind of like the old guy who screams at the kids to get off his lawn.

His delivery is the same as last election. As a major donor of time and money last election... I will be donating neither this year.

The message is the right one... The messenger is the wrong one.

Dr Paul did great about getting the ideas/message out last election. Look where are are today... but he is unelectable because he can not deliver his message. He is a machine gun of information and comes off as not able to have a two way conversation.

There are no real alternatives at this point.
