(HELP DOTHAN) Peanut Festival Effort.

A few months ago I came to this forum and requested help in getting into the National Peanut Festival.

Thanks to your generous donations and combined with the determination of a young meet-up group we were able to procure a booth at a huge ten day event that sees tens of thousands of people each day. We were able to convince and sway the festival organizer to allow the freedom message onto the fairgrounds. What is especially amazing about this is that political booths have not been allowed at the festival for the past ten years.

Thanks to our combined efforts this has changed and a countless sum will receive exposure to Ron Paul.

We are in the final week leading up to the event and we have the man power for the booth. Those who are dedicated have stepped up and we will be there all ten days.

This past Thursday my group gave me our last $130 and charged me to order some more slimjims for the event.

Friday I ordered them, and then today Murphy's law kicked in and the campaign put up several new versions.

Liberty Eagle brought this to my attention and believes, as do I, that having a variety of these at the event would be a very good thing.

*SHE* has generously offered to help me purchase some and suggested I set up a chip-in in case anyone else is interested in helping out my group.

Time if of the essence on this, because these need to be ordered tomorrow morning so they can get them in time for the festival.

Specifically, I was thinking they needed to order some:
- Pro-gun Slim Jims
- Pro-Life Slim Jims
- Anti-illegal alien Slim Jims possibly (although this may not go over well with some of the big chicken farms in the area). ;)

Just email store@ronpaul2008.com and explain your situation. Tell them what you need, give them the meetup organizers name, contact info, etc...

Not rocket science. They'll get you everything you need if you talk to them. OR find someone in your area who is maxed out, and have them order..

I do realize this is not as fun as bitching about a TV commercial or sending hundreds of flowers to Jay Leno. But, it is an opportunity to get campaign literature into real people's hands.

Last time I knew, that was an important part of winning an election.
