the guy interviewing him looks like he's about to bust out laughing any minute.

he said he won't support him unless he's got a good shot at nomination?

It was a very good interview, I dont think it matter what he said was "Ron Paul is the only person in Washington that knows what really going in with the economy (weak dollar)".

He said if Ron Paul makes to the general election, he would vote for him.

Just watched it ... he says he's typically apolitical, but this time there's only one political candidate he would back, and if he got anywhere near the nomination he would support Ron Paul. Said Dr. Paul is the only one who actually understands the mess we are in financially.

Isnt it suprising Jim rogers is endorsing Paul given his late partnership with globalist Soros in the Quantum fund? Ist refreshing but it makes me want to ask him so many qws...

Jim looks great in many ways, but I don't like the Soros connection.

I like what I see otherwise from his writings and interviews.

Hopefully he'll cut a check for $2,300- he can certainly afford it!

That is awesome. I've a lot of respect for Rogers and I've hoped that he would say something about RP. He was a business partner of Soros' but they see the world a bit differently.

He also said,
"Ron Paul doesn't have chance to win if I'm backing him. Sorry Ron". Strange thing to say, even sarcastically in this type of interview. Overall a good interview with good news to the RP camp.

Rogers was a partner with Soros but he has always been libertarian in terms of economics

Excellent. If Rogers is endorsing there are many other big financial people out there with the same idea. This may help explain the size of Dr. Paul's war chest.

You guys should be careful about using the word, "endorsement." That has already gotten us in trouble with the VFW.

Jim Rogers has always supported Ron Paul's economic ideas. Nothing new there. He has always been rather apolitical in that he has little respect for any politician. His association with Soros was for financial gain, not because he supported Soros' politics.

IMHO, Jim Rogers is a financial genius, and those who follow him are mostly RP supporters anyway. The general public doesn't have a clue who Jim Rogers is, so I doubt if a real endorsement would matter. Those who watch FOX on Saturday a.m. probably think he's a nut--and he is, in a positive way.

I like his financial and economic knowledge and choice of presidential candidate, but anyone who think China has a great government (this includes the CFR and most of our presidents in the last few decades btw) has no real love of freedom or liberty, AT ALL.

China is the most successful oppressive authoritarian communist government probably in history. The neocons want america to = communist china.

Not saying Jim is a neocon but he certainly can't appreciate freedom much if you love the chinese government.
