Awesome! I am just glad that the cops didn't give the blockers beef. When they were tailing that one patrol car, it could've been considered intimidation. I just hope that they continue to keep up to date on the existing laws and maintain their citizens' watch force! Great job guys!

Don't chalk building and cop cars, don't piss over the vast majority of folks and arrests like this will likely not happen. I'm not saying anyone deserved to be arrested but I would be surprised if 70% of folks and 90% of elected officials in Manchester thought it was a bad idea to chalk the police station.

It's true, there is a ton of activism in NH. All types of activism are happening in NH. With 1000s of folks doing liberty activism, that's bound to be the case.

This needs to happen everywhere. When you have police patrolling around for citizens, you have a police state, but when you have citizens patrolling around for police, you have a free state.

Is there any law or anything you can say so that they can't take your camera as evidence?

They Have No Right to Confiscate Your Film

Sometimes agents acting for entities such as owners of industrial plants and shopping malls may ask you to hand over your film. Absent a court order, private parties have no right to confiscate your film. Taking your film directly or indirectly by threatening to use force or call a law enforcement agency can constitute criminal offenses such as theft and coercion. It can likewise constitute a civil tort such as conversion. Law enforcement officers may have the authority to seize film when making an arrest but otherwise must obtain a court order.

umm... 2nd video they put graffiti the station. I'd arrest them too...

I'm for accountability, but don't be stupid. If you get in their faces and start confronting them, they are going to push back. Best to just record quietly and submit evidence to the DA directly. And stop using hand-held cameras that can be "mistaken" for weapons in your hands at night. If they want to do this professionally I'd suggest a similar rig to what justin.tv had with a webcam that streams live to the internet at all times. Camera confiscation at that point doesn't do anything as the data is never stored in the device, but in the cloud.

It was just chalk on public property as part of a protest. No victim, no crime.

Im all for no victim no crime. And another thing. Public property will never get any of my respect. Only privet. I don't respect no mans land. Im not going to try and live against my human nature just to help out a failed way of life, bad idea. Public property should be treated like shit in my book. send a message.

This needs to happen everywhere. When you have police patrolling around for citizens, you have a police state, but when you have citizens patrolling around for police, you have a free state.

When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When government fears the people, there is liberty.

As a prior law enforcement officer, I love the idea of "no victim, no crime". I thought that I would actually be doing real law enforcement when I received my shield... nope. Law enforcement needs to get back to the Constitution.

The victim is the public who pays to maintain the building.

I was personally turned off by the vandalism.

I don't support graffiti/vandalism. This is quite embarrassing actually.

Yeah I liked the majority of the first video.. Citizens watching the watchmen.. thats cool..

2nd video I think was sorta in bad taste... I mean the cops did seem very restrained and the entire place looked like a shit hole being all chalked up and stuff..

I know people have their beefs and what not.. I would have a little more respect for the public property than to chalk everything up

There needs to be some way to hold these people accountable for the crimes they commit. A peaceful protest outside the station is great in my opinion. If they would stop hurting peaceful people than they wouldn't have people outraged enough to stage a protest and chalk.

I agree... I only watched (and commented on) the first video. I didn't feel like watching the second.

This. They can't confiscate what's on the net :p

And you can set it up to post to Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites AS SOON AS YOUR VIDEO STREAM STOPS. Meaning, if they confiscate your phone and turn off the camera, your video is automatically posted online...everywhere. Pretty cool.
