If there was no such thing as slang, then there would be no language.

Slang is the development of language, not the de-evolution.

Silly poll is silly. There is a difference between idiom and slang. Just as Ukranians speak a different idiom of Russian, Americans speak a unique idiom of English.

The monkey would be more welcomed here than the troll who created this thread.

He claims the reason we think his English sounds off is because he speaks "British English" (implying he is more correct than us), when most of what he says is grammatically incorrect for any form of English.

This thread comes off as if it were meant as an insult to us.
