I bet they quit after spending time reading Gingrich threads in these forums and after watching the "The Real Newt Gingrich" video. :D

Oh, he stuck his big foot in his mouth a couple of weeks ago. I think it was about Paul Ryan. Conservative Republicans were quite ticked off.

Here is a higher traffic thread about this, http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?297614-Campaign-Ends-All-Staff-have-resigned The other thread is a lot of fun to read :)

Bwaaaahhhaaaahhhhaaaa!

Really I have no idea why Newt is even running at this point. Even if he got some traction a 30 second TV spot talking about how he claimed he cheated on his wife because he was working so hard for America would crush him. Elliot Spitzer could win the GOP nomination before Newt could. The fact that Newt could be in the double digits in any poll shows that at least 10% of republicans are stupid beyond redemption.

This is really good news. President Newt would have been horrible for America.

That and he cheated on his wife, supports Obamacare, and did a global warming commercial with Nancy Pelosi. To be honest part of me hopes he doesn't drop out. I want to see him defend all of this during the debates just for the entertainment value.

And then there were six...?

That puts Romney in the middle of the next debate with Paul to his left and Bachmann to his right? Not sure if this is good for us or not..

**** Of course, IF Gingrich decides to call it quits before Monday.

That sucks.

I was looking forward to Newt making a complete idiot of himself in the debates.

They probably just realized that Newt doesn't have a chance against Ron Paul.

Gingrich is still going to participate in next week's debate. His showing there will probably determine whether he stays in or not.
