Just thought Id mention that the info I got regarding CNN's tickets for the June 13 debate was directly from the politics department of St Anselm. I was connected to them by the communications department, per their press release. The info is accurate as far as St Anselm politics department is concerned.

The focus of the November 10 debate will be on the Constitution.

http://www.seacoastonline.com/articles/20110719-NEWS-107190366

"The debate will be focused on the Constitution," DeLemus said. "Not a test on the Constitution, but how it will play into their decision-making if they're elected president."

DeLemus said all topics are on the table for the debate. The group is looking to see how the candidates will base their decisions on the Constitution.

"We're not biased; we're a Constitution-based group looking to educate the voter on the Constitutional stances of the candidates," DeLemus said. "I'll guarantee it will be different than any debate anyone else puts on."

Regarding the Sept. 7 debate at the Reagan Library, I've spoken to the Reagan Foundation and someone at the campaign about it. Apparently, it's in a small venue, so no tickets are being made available to the public, and attendance is by invitation only. Tickets are being made available to event sponsors, the Reagan family, and each campaign. However, each campaign has only been given 10 tickets, so unfortunately, there's no way to get one of those, either.

Just wanted to pass along this information, in case anyone was planning on trying to attend.

ARGH!! I have been going to the Reagan Library web page looking for debate tickets since a woman told me back in April that the details would be there closer to the date.

I finally emailed them, but I guess this answers my question.

Cant wait for the MSNBC debate in a couple of weeks, should be pretty good. Everyones first chance to see Perry speak, I'm sure he'll be a letdown but the GOP establishment will make him sound like our next saviour.

Anyone have a lead on where to get tickets to this debate? I've searched high and low and couldn't find anything. I'm guessing based on who is hosting it's an insider only type of thing. Still, if anyone can find anything I would very much like to attend, it's not too far from me.

I emailed American Enterprise Institute regarding tickets and their response was "tickets are not available at this time". I haven't heard back from The Heritage Foundation.

From my perspective, it does appear to be an insider only event.

Thanks for the info.
I was interested in tickets to this as well.

The December 19 Iowa debate was cancelled today. Tickets to the December 10 and 15 Iowa debates are on sale.

Would appreciate any and all help in promoting these 2 CRUCIAL Iowa debates. We really really need to show strong support for our man Ron in the lead up to the Jan 3rd caucus.

Pissed that the asshole George Stephanopoulos is moderating the ABC debate. Ron should be prepared, he is worse than any Fox News host, even O'Reilly.

Second GOP debate at Reagan library now uncertain

A long-planned Republican presidential debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley this year is now uncertain, a top library official said.

The library hosted a GOP presidential debate Sept. 7 and had said it planned to hold a second one on the eve of the 10 Super Tuesday primaries March 6.

But John Heubusch, executive director of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, said the library is now rethinking the second debate.

"We had always planned to do a second one, but with California having moved its primary date to June, we're now looking at, 'OK, is there an appropriate fit in the calendar for where a second debate here would make real sense and be impactful?' " Heubusch said Thursday.

"We don't want to have a debate just for the sake of having a debate," he said. "I think they've had 20 so far. So it's something we're considering, but we've not yet made a decision."

The debate in September featured eightpresidential hopefuls, including current front-runner Mitt Romney, a former Massachusetts governor, and No. 2 contender Newt Gingrich, a former speaker of the House.
