I read there were 6 women. I earlier bashed the motivations of those exposing him but now not so sure since this story keeps getting worse. When someone is acting that irresponsibly in a position of power one may feel compelled to expose the truth rather than allow others to use blackmail in return for policy. Anthony Weiner is a weak, pathetic little man who is only emboldened by the power he believes he has. I used to help manage a company's message board which had its fair share of teenagers posting, and the "I was hacked" excuse was the common go-to for people who got caught intentionally breaking the rules. After a while, it becomes so trite and overused that you just tell them "prove it or get out". That's the first thing that came to mind when I heard Weiner's excuse. He is a scared little 15 year old who, for a while, thought he was invincible.

Oops, you got caught and you can only blame yourself.

I only hope that his wife is aware enough to realize that no matter what he says, his behavior isn't going to stop. He'll certainly cut out his antics for a while, so things can blow over. But once the next big distraction takes the attention off of Anthony Weiner, he'll be back to trolling supporters' social networking sites to see how he can use them to get off.
