I love simplicity.

"Ask me about Ron Paul" on T-shirts.

"Ron Paul 2008 - End the War" on banners.

I meant, having these "mass produced". I have not seen them anywhere. So, I was just saying.. someone should get these done..

someone should get these done..

The "someone" in a grass-roots campaign is YOU!!

Design them up, create the artwork, get a printing quote, and create a chip-in to get it happening!

Then make the artwork available to anybody else in the campaign to use.

And post some photos of your sign in use, and post them back here.

Off you go, Someone. Hop to it!

Ron Paul 2008
End Iraq Occupation

Would be more appropriate wouldn't it? I mean, really the actual war part is over, right?

Has anyone used "Ignore Ron Paul" yet?

Add "NOW" at the end. That way we show he is different.

maybe it hasn't been done because it's a polarizing issue within the party? RP's position doesn't fit on a sign, and we have to appeal to party people in a lot of areas.

Yeeuup. Depends on the area.

This sign will be rolling EVERYWHERE after the primaries, though, right alongside "repeal the Patriot Act"

just a simple banner. Those two lines.I think it's great. Simple yet powerful. That should be the central theme of the campaign.

Guys, be careful with the "end the war" message. If the first exposure a possible neo-con convert gets is the war message, it may spook them. My area is largely "Republican", so I've decided not to advertise the war message. Instead I advertise "no IRS", "secure borders", and "limited government." Unlike the war, I feel these are almost universal positives around here. These will set the hook lightly so there is more chance of retention once they find out about his war policy. Know your area and advertise accordingly.

The grassroots campaign has been wildly successful so far because it has been smart. We need to continue to use our heads and think each idea through. From here on out, our job is to attract a different kind of voter, the voter who is not as passionate as us, and not as determined to do their own research. Our job is to hit them with just the right message and to avoid scaring them away. Whatever tailored message you use, make sure it always includes "Ron Paul - President 2008."

So far I have the following:

End the IRS
End the War
Limited Government
For Freedom
For Liberty

And more?

Someone asked if I use FinalCut, no. Adobe Illustrator.

What is coroplast?

corrugated plastic. sign material.

if to be used as either a yard or pole sign, visibility is key.

and it should probably be limited to 2 colors to keep cost down.

Beautiful. I have not one artistic bone in my body--can't draw a straight line. I'm constantly amazed at the talent in the forums.

At some point (maybe after the campaign), why not create business listings on here for members so that we can support one another--maybe with a charge that continues to support the forum. I'm sure we've got a lot of small business people, and why not support like-minded individuals instead of spending our FNRs or gold or whatever with others?
