I have never really tried to figure that out but people throw those terms around when talking about fundraising. When is Q1 and Q2 referring to? How are campaign/donation rules applied to this?

I'd like to know so I can compare his fundraising this campaign to 4 years ago.

I believe those refer to Quarter 1 or 1st Quarter, Quarter 2 or 2nd Quarter... etc.

Yeah I figured as much, but is that quarter of the year? Jan 1st through the end of March? (Q1) Etc? Or is there a time frame specific to political campaigns?

Q1: Jan - March
Q2: Apr - June
Q3: July - Sept
Q4: Oct - Dec

The year is divided into four, hence "quarter".

pretty sure there is no difference with campaigns.

Thanks.

Now does anyone know of a website that has Ron Paul's fund raising per quarter both in this campaign as well as the '08 one?

Thank you! :)

You're welcome. I don't think you can find any numbers for Q1 2011 because there was no official campaign before Q2, and that's now.
