His stance against the fed.

Though I would not describe his stance as "against" wall street; he just doesn't want to give them any benefits. His stance is "non-interventionist"

Stance Against Big Govt. in General covers quite a bit.

Tough decision between that one and non-interventionism, but if you count foreign intervention in with big govt. then the decision becomes easier.

Constitutionalism all the way. That encompasses all of the rest of it.

Ya the problem is the different 'interpretations' of the 'general welfare' clause and whatnot.

Not trying to suggest that those interpretation have any validity, but they do exist unfortunately..

It's his philosophy on liberty.

^^
Pretty much that.
2nd Amendment and Civil Liberties is what first attracted me.(not on your list)
His opposition to pointless wars and support for the Constitution both impress me.

I said the wall street and the fed, but what I really mean is his awareness of the NWO and the attack on America's sovereignty.

Originally it was probably the war and while that is still important, I'd say now it is his support for privacy rights because that is my #1 issue anymore.

Initially the war. Probably now his focus on the fed and the monetary system, as that allows for wars and a whole host of other problems, although I'd still say slaughtering innocent people overseas is a big issue for me.

They do, and if the people step up enough to elect strict Constitutionalists amongst all the bodies, we can clarify original intent by cross-referencing contemporary autographic expositions and legislating (or even amending) such clarifications as the enumerated powers act.

All of the above and more, but more importantly, he means it.

Yup,
The 40 year history of consistency clinches it.

I voted for his stance against big government, in general, but since the sanctity of life is the number one issue for me, and Congressman Paul is pro-life (towards both abortions and foreign wars), that is what attracts me the most to him.

I was torn between Constitution, and anti-big government (seems very similar).

I put "war on drugs" but it's hard for me to boil it down to one issue.

A lot of it is just "money". War in the mid-east, war on drugs, fed - it all boils down to stop crazy spending and fix our economy.

For me it was the non-interventionist foreign policy. I kind of bought his book The Revolution on a whim a few years ago after constantly hearing the radio-talkers bash him and wanted to decide for myself. Turns out his views are basically my own and it really exposed the propaganda to me.

He has the courage and wisdom to give a damn about MY natural rights, HIS natural rights, and OTHERS natural rights and everything that flows from that recognition.

Why there even is an America.

Sorry that's one thing I left out by accident. Since most of his republican primary opponents are also pro life, it slipped my mind as something that stands out about Paul.

Ah, but being against the death penalty DOES stand out about him. He is the only "seamless garment" pro-life candidate.

I was looking for the "anti-tax" option, but I suppose really that's just a subset of being anti-big government so I went with that option.
