Huh, well, she'd break up the line up, and she is sharp and seems to like Ron.... I don't really know her personal viewpoints.

Site says:
"Judge Andrew Napolitano is probably the most likely replacement, at least in the short term."

Would be great..

She has her own show on Fox already, so the Judge may still have a shot even if it isn't the time slot we would have liked.

Megyn Kelly already has a show from 1-3pm. Hows that going to work? Cavuto has 2 shows that are an hour each, and Fox and Friends is 3 hrs IIRC, but there are 3 hosts on that.

Cable news ratings for yesterday are here:
http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2011/06/03/cable-news-ratings-for-thursday-june-2-2011/94654/

unfortunately they don't list viewership for Kelly or the Judge.

Nice safe bet for Ailes.

Can some rich Libertarians in this country please step up already and create a Libertarian news channel to compete with the 3 gatekeepers of big government news channels already.

creating the network would be the easy part; getting cable companies to carry it would be a huge problem; just look how they block Al Jazerra. even Fox had a hard climb.

You buy an existing channel that has the best coverage and convert it.

I can only guess the argument going on at FOX for Andrew Napolitano vs Megyn Kelly on taking Beck's place... "Education or tits??"

A two hour show? If Kelly replaces Beck could this open up two timeslots instead of one? If so there is a very good chance that the Judge gets one.

I hope it's the Judge but I also hope he freshens up his show. Every day he talks about the debt ceiling and keeps inviting back the same dumb liberal fucks who keep making the same dumb liberal fuck argument: "if we don't raise the debt ceiling, it'll be a catastrophe!". Bloody Charlie Rangel has been on two times already about this. If the Judge wants to mention the debt ceiling every day, fine (it's an important topic), but just present the libertarian side of the argument about reducing spending to 2003 levels (can use different guests - Bob Murphy did the best job) and just shoot down the discredited liberal argument with the facts instead of giving the other side time to waste to present their argument. They've had TONS of time already and it's always the same BS. Give the libertarian argument and snappily move on - it's getting stale already. There are other things that need improving (some of them I know are beyond the Judge's control) but this one thing is very tiresome.

I just thought about it, but Stossel is another possibility for a replacement. For the past couple months Fox has advertised a "coming soon" monthly/yearly subscription to the audio podcast of his show, and has been selling individual episodes in the meantime:
http://radio.foxnews.com/podcast/stossel-premium-podcast/#premium
The labeled $5.95/month "coming soon" pricing system wouldn't make sense unless he got a daily show b/c it would be cheaper to buy a month's worth of single episodes at $1.29 each

"We need a blackboard"
"Where couldwe find one..." Looks up left, then right
"I think one might be becoming available..."

True cheaper, but it also says is a weekly program.

Going from weekly to daily would seem to make more sense on FBN, but maybe a lower viewership slot ON FOX. They have been dropping his show onto FOX on Weekends sometimes, so you know they are watching the viewership numbers.

WOW! Thanks Frank. I missed that. I never saw I would see the day that the Federal Reserve was splayed out like this on mainstream news. Just wow.

That show aired March 25th. Less than 2 weeks later (April 6) it was publicly announced that his show was going to end soon (June).
Coincidence? Possibly, I guess....

And ever since then he has been on on some sort of weird tangent about Israel and restoring honor or something, I'm not sure what??? I'll bet his ratings have taken a nosedive since then.

Conservatives and Republicans tend to like and support Israel. Good for ratings.
