The eight story structure will cost tax payers $46.9 million dollars.

I'm thinking about becoming homeless:

Bud Clark Commons (http://theportlander.com/2011/05/31/50-million-homeless-transition-center-opens-in-portland-june-2nd/) structure will cost tax payers $46.9 million dollars. That's the first estimate... switch the numbers around for the real cost $96.4 Million sounds more appropriate for government work.

There are enough homeless people already in Portland, especially around that Union Station area. Last thing needed is a homeless magnet. And "free" yoga classes? Seriously?

I live in Portland. It's a liberal hell hole. There are homeless vagrants everywhere, pissing in the streets, shooting up, and annoying the fuck out of me. They have everything handed to them for free by the state and city governments. Free foods, free shelter, even free needles - but they still have to bum for change. I saw one chick last week beg everyone at McDonald's for money, then when she finally found a sucker she took a bite out of a cheeseburger and threw it on the ground in the parking lot, started ripping through her bag for french fries, tossed the napkins and everything on the ground as she walked away. Fucking disgusting.

You think this is good, you should check out Portland's Urban Growth Boundary that came about because of its government subsidized "affordable housing" issues. The people who "lead" the city are the definition dumbasses.
