Oh? But he has already proven to us that he is against nearly everything that we stand for; he is especially against any form of personal liberty.

Yeah, but except for that part....

Is there a position Romney hasn't ever taken yet? The guy is a puddle of Jello.

Romney is a joke. No true libertarian would ever vote for the guy. Best of luck to the stooge!

Wasn't Goldwater pro-abortion? That would be a similarity.

Romney poses as a libertarian, Huckabee denounces them. Interesting.

But if you look at the advance text of Romney’s remarks, he’s clearly looking to embrace some of the same Tea Party energy that fuels the Palin caravan. Romney will talk about the need to woo libertarian voters (not a bad move as Ron Paul staffs up in the state) and will preach a bit on states’ rights.

lol because libertarians love gun bans, bank bailouts, universal healthcare, the patriot act and unlimited wars, right?

Romney needs to stick to this message. redd.it/hpelm

Seriously, he can't pull off being a libertarian. He can barely pull off being a Republican. This is just pathetic to watch, like a gay wiccan abortion doctor trying to court the religious right.

up here we just had three tornados rip thru, though perhaps not as badly as the midwest.
sarah palin is in boston right now, heading along to new hampshire from our freedom trail.
yesterday the emergency dominated the local networks, folks were told over a ten hour
timeframe what to expect by our weatherpeople and tv anchors. we missed the national
news cycle. springfield, west springfield and monson were hard hit. some 70+ or 80+ homes
demolished in west springfield and monson respectivley. springfield had two twisters form.
mitt romney is sorta lucky, in a way, but for our lousy weather, sarah palin's bus would have
been the newsworthy event. she must have gotten to boston before 3 p.m because things
were total chaos from mid-afternoon until about 10 p.m! ---there was 3/4 inch to 1 inch hail
very near several of the funnels. the 128 area gave boston a lightening display at about 9 p.m!
this was nowhere near as bad as poor joplin or even worcester in 1953, but we don't usually get
tornados that last more than 15 minutes. our strongest twister may have been an F3! our public
officials are hugging the spotlight & co-ordinating MEMA with FEMA as the coverage is ongoing.

today is slightly gusty, cool and dry.
excellent spring weather. yesterday
was an unexpected fluke for us all.
things could have been worse. the
uprooted century plus trees and the
caved in brick buildings, or the houses
reduced to toothpicks had us feeling
like midwesterners. north carolina lately
had sixty twisters in a tight timeframe.
people here only thought it would be
a spot of thunderstorms. sarah palin
happily went up to new hampshire
after making a few remarks here about
paul revere. she did zinger romneyCare.

Mitt Romney: The BAIN of my existence

PS:

They call him Flipper, Flipper, switches faster than lightning,
No-one you see, is conniving than he,
And we know Flipper, lives in a world full of plunder,
Raiding there-under, under the sea unto everybody, except all for ME!

In other news, John Boehner and White House Spokesman Carney both announced that government just might be part of the problem.

Ghandi forgot to mention a step. 'Then they try to usurp your positions.'

The good news is we're winning. I've actually heard the term 'libertarian' on broadcast television more than once this spring. The only other times in my life that this happened were back in the 'equal time law' days and when they were implying in 2008 that Ron Paul was somehow an illegitimate Republican.

Do they even know what libertarian means. The author probably thinks it means the same as "tea party." Such a joke.

Aratus

mitt romney may be trying to mentally figure out how to add
the TEA PARTY to the NeoCons without fragmenting the GOP
like as if this all is just an algebraically mathematical equation!
in 1964 the GOP split in two an' nominated Senator AuH20!!!

This reminded me of all the talking heads like Limbaugh/Levin... you know the roll call - saying they would vote for a tin can over Obama. Sorry, but I won't. Not this time. If a Romney-type is the GOP candidate I will abstain.

Agreed. I would vote LP or CP again. The more I learn about Romney's positions (they are sure hard to decipher) the more I'm coming to the realization that he might actually somehow be worse than Obama from a conservative/libertarian POV.

When you look at all the Demopublicans and Republicrats only one stands out.

I think we're finally getting through with the truth. There are more than half a dozen status quo candidates and one represenative of the people. That's the new line. Which side are you on?

Years ago, you could find a lesser evil. No such thing any more. They've incrementalized us so far down the rabbit hole that every additional inch is an unimaginable crime against nature.

That's because he would institute the same progresssive socialist policies Obama would. And they'd fail massively like they always do. And then conservatism/libertarianism would get the blame because that is what Romney pretends to be.
