The family says the off-duty officer was barefoot and wearing swim trunks when he jumped a fence at his residence last Friday and began chasing a couple of teenagers who were hanging out near their home on Quiet Glade Court.
Witnesses say the off-duty officer appeared to be drunk as he chased a 16-year-old boy into a house. The family says the officer used his fist to break through the glass window of their front door.

The family claims after the officer barged into the house, he began threatening other teens at the home and allegedly went into a kitchen to grab a knife.

A neighbor says the officer then ran across the street to her home, leaving a trail of blood. She says she helped bandage the man's injuries. The neighbor claims the off-duty officer was accusing the teen of smoking cigarettes in the neighborhood.

Basically, this cop was off-duty, drunk, and in swimming trunks. He saw two teenagers hanging around and chased them because he thought they were smoking. The teenagers ran into their home. The cop broke the window on the front door and let himself in where he assaulted the male teenager and threatened his sister.

This is a nice neighborhood too, people. Middle class america with brick houses and SUVs in every driveway.

I assume the children will now be charged with assaulting an officer? The worst tyrants are the ones who believe what they are doing is for your own benefit. I really do .... try not to hate these assholes, but its hard not to.

Pifer's parents say they not only want their door fixed, they say they want to press charges against the accused officer. Good for them! Hope they win the case. Thanks for the OP. Shared on FB.

Isn't Texas one of the states with the right to shoot someone for breaking into your house? They should have just blown his brains out.

He was in swim trunks--no pockets/belt to keep them in. Notice he was allegedly going to the kitchen for a knife though.

Dude should be fired and serve some time.

Sounds like a home invasion to me. 20 years should do the trick.

(Fwiw, a lot of cops are alcoholics because it's the only way without getting fired to deal with the pain they cause people)

Waiting to hear from the statist apologists. This cop just made a mistake right? He should have waited until he was sober and on duty to do this.

If some drunk naked guy did this in my neck of the woods there is a VERY GOOD CHANCE he would have been shot. That cop should stay in the city where people are fucking retarded.

That's certainly the most pants-on-head retarded thing I've heard an officer do this week. But it is only Thursday.

Are you suggesting both incidents are the same schmuck? The OP doesn't identify him by name (figures).

In another neighborhood, the cop would've weighed a few more pounds in lead.
