Young Americans for Liberty, a non-profit continuation of Students for Ron Paul with over 220 chapters nationwide, announced in an email today that they will be forming a YAL-affiliated PAC this summer. With this PAC, they plan to:

Identify 25,000 young people interested in advancing liberty through the political process.
Train at least 1,000 YAL members to run for office, manage a campaign, or organize a grassroots effort.
Endorse up to 100 campaigns by finding candidates, staffing their campaigns, or providing financial support (through a YAL-affiliated PAC).
Win at least 25 elections which will advance liberty through the public policy process.

The email continues:

This summer, YAL will form an affiliated PAC to provide you and me with greater flexibility to participate in the electoral process. This PAC will be the rallying point for our cause to find, support, and elect the best candidates throughout the country.

At the same time, YAL's Year of Youth project will identify, train, and mobilize at least 1,000 youth activists willing to commit themselves in support of these candidates.

Good!!!!!

I wondered how the hell 'Students for Ron Paul' was going to be able to play its part in the form it was. Going to C4L killed the meet ups, too. Glad to see it starting to come back.

But is it to late? Rand could take this field n a heart beat.. The way he answers questions is much more appealing to republican voters...

This is not too late at all. The upcoming campaign season is the perfect time to identify these people and train them. Doing it any sooner would have been premature.

WTF? Are you serious? It sounds as if you are trying to undermine the campaign. RON turns out students like no one else, just so you know.

Wow could you imagine that? What if they could win 25 a year? That would start to have a major impact within a few years.
