Between 2 and 5 million. Big range, but I really don't think $10MM's gonna happen.

To my surprise my daughter (whom is a supporter) told me she was signed up for Nov 5
I didn't even know she knew about it till I talked to her last night
She also told me, that since she knows money is tight for me, that she might put in an extra $100

A guy in my meetup who hadn't pledged up until this event(assuming he does it) has pledged to match everything we as a meetup donate.

I was going to do 100 but things happen in life and I'm only going to be able to do 50.. His match will even me out to my original 100..

Others are planning on 100 and his pledge will make it 200... VERY COOL...

Who knows how much money will be raised? No one can be sure... But when you feel your a toes a tingling on the 5th of November, follow the siren of freedom and donate genorously.

I predict that getting new voters offline is a higher priority than this lame thread about money.

We're on track for a little over $2.5M this month. $2.5M on November 5th would be PHENOMENAL. That already sets us up to make more than last quarter, with just under two months left to raise even more.

Yeah, I think it'll be close to 1 million.

Plus or minus 250k or so.

I really don't think we'll hit over 1.5 million, but I'd be DAMNED please to see a 2 million dollar day.

That would REALLY send a message.

$650,000.

That's based on an estimated 15,000 signups. 40% will flake out. Of the remaining 9,000, the average donation will be $75. 9,000 x $75 = $650,000.

I'd be much happier if all your predictions in the $1 million to $2 million range are closer to truth. But in cases like these I prefer to err on the conservative side and be pleasantly surprised. :)

I don't see us under a mill.

If we are even close towards the end of the day, people will start double dipping because of the big news that one million in a day would make.

Assuming that thisnovember5th.com has not been inundated with moles who have pledged (or a lot of people who don't keep their promises) we should break a mill no sweat.

I had hoped to go $200 that day, but real life (my wife) is dictating that I just keep my pledge of $100 as we had a $4000 unespected home repair.

My guess: 1.3333333 million

But you're not taking into account the people who will participate that haven't pledged for whatever reason.

My guess: $1.55 million

I have also heard a LOT of people pledge to give more than $100.

Adam Curry is bombing for $2300, has he been pushing thisnovember5th on his podcast?

Alot of people that havent pledged are going to donate that day too. Im donating more than $100 if I can. And the pledge site gains about 1000 a day.

I'm signed up and even though i'm maxed out i got a friend who isn't and he'll be making the donation for me. I plan on giving over 100. But the 10 million dollar question is, where are the meetup groups on this? they can at least get us close to the 100k pledges mark. I got a message today on myspace from a supporter about it, so whoever is working hard on myspace THANK YOU!

There will need to be a huge boost in promotion if goal is going to be reached, but there is nothing more I would love to see than 5m in one day. Along with the press that will come with he could literally destroy with that kind of bonus cash at his disposal. that'd put him up to over 12 million cash on hand. think about it!

+5.4m end of quarter cash on hand
-1.5m for radio and tv ads
+3m for donations so far this quarter (estimated for nov. 5th total)
+5m november 5th bonus.

I talked to two good friends today and they hadn't heard of the promotion. Both committed to 100$+. One is a director of IT and MBA and his first statement was "Oh great, they are going to crash his server." I sure hope the campaign is getting prepared ...

I am glad I waited because the new slim-jims are out. I haven't signed the pledge but I have family members who will be ordering around $1,000 of supplies. Those new slim-jims are great (Health Care and Guns). So, yes, a lot of donations are going to come in under the radar.
