If you get a chance to talk to Ron Paul, see if he knows about Florida's Presidency 5 straw poll. It's quite possible that he doesn't. It should be top priority between now and June 10. See http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?294454-Winning-Florida-s-Presidency-5-Straw-Poll for why this is important.

I see that Mason City is a bit isolated, so if anyone would do it if they could afford the day off work, travel etc, start a ChipIn and I'll donate $100 to your trip.

And Florida is Cain territory. At least, his only meetup group is located there....

I will definitely be going. I'm about 400 miles away, but its worth the trip and hopefully ill get a chance to work an Iowa Ron Paul fair booth as well. To the OP, send a message to steve bierfeldt or call him (number is on the Iowa for Ron Paul site.) He is in charge of Iowa, and although its not Ron Paul, its probably the closest you'll be able to get to him and I would imagine he can give you some confirmation as to the campaigns knowledge of the Florida straw poll.

If Mason City is a bit isolated why is Ron hitting this up and not say Des Moines or some other high populated area? I'm sure they have a strategy, but we need to maximize Ron's appearances unless he really plans on tearing it up this time around.

I've sent Steve a couple PMs about it but he hasn't replied.

Since it's a "meet and greet", I assume you'll get to either meet or greet Ron Paul.

Carol Paul just told me in Facebook chat that she would print http://ronpaulwinsflorida.com and pass it on to Ron, so I'm optimistic that the campaign will do something about Presidency 5 soon.

I'd still encourage anyone attending the Mason City event to bring it up with him if you get a chance though.

No, Trey FTW! Carol doesn't know me from Adam, so I don't want to bug her any further to find out what Ron thinks of Presidency 5, if he's seen the printout. That can be your job at the Mason City event ;)
