Out of all the polls PPP has released, this is the one where Ron Paul comes closest to first place. He's only 7 points behind the leader in this poll.

yet they give Cain 'the' permanent slot for pres in the national head to head poll w Obama, even though they dropped two. On the other hand, they don't give it to Bachmann, either. Wow, look at her numbers. That I did not expect.

Pawlenty and Bachmann do get a bounce because of the Minnesota-Wisconsin connection. Also, I don't think it's a bad thing that they poll Cain head to head with Obama. Trump was polling in first/second place in the GOP primary but when they polled him head to head against Obama, he didn't stand a chance. That may have led to his downfall. Hopefully, the same will happen to Cain.

Wisconsin is right next to Minnesota. These numbers are expected.

its alright. I'm more impressed with the new national poll that has Ron in 2nd place @ 15% W/O palin and the ghoul. Still, going from 5 to 10% is nothing to sneeze at especially since were only 7% off Mittens.

Wisconsin and Ohio never were especially favourable to Ron Paul. Go figure. This is a very good sign. Also, T-Paw and Bachmann are getting a boost because both are from neighboring Minnesota, not because they are gaining national traction.

The Iowa poll will really show how things are going.
