Just on Drudge and seen the following:

Ron Paul is a legitimate third place behind GOP bread-and-butter candidates Romney and Palin.

Interesting thoughts on the poll:
-Republicans that attend church frequently apparently prefer voting for a Mormon over a Christian--jeez.
-Republicans that have completed college prefer Romney--apparently they were brainwashed to be liberals.

If Ron Paul wins Ames and continues doing what he does at debates, he can legitimately win...something I could not dream of 4 years ago. Romney is going to lose support the more people see he is a big government liberal. In fact, Gingrich also will have this problem. Sarah Palin too will have this problem when she runs (she's gonna run, face it.)

If Ron Paul emphasizes that when push came to shove he was the teaparty before the teaparty, that he opposed the bailouts from the beginning on record while his liberal opponents supported them, he can get enough votes to win. He needs to play it up like Rand...emphasize the tea party and stop catering so much to liberals (i.e. his soft talk on abortion in the last year, heroin, prostitution, etcetera.)

We have work to do, but this is great news.
