Or Oct. 31 or Nov. 11, because this is bad, and that's the only explanations I can think of.

November 5th will bring in people who wouldn't have donated anyways, and create some good buzz. Overall it will provide a net benefit, don't fret :)

Still better then week 1.

They added offlines into the counter about 3 days ago, I can't imagine there being much more online donations since then.

I worked as much overtime as possible this past 2 weeks to be able to donate about 300 on the 5th. I am a big fan of the V for Vendetta movie and Ron Paul too. I have been holding off for a while with any donations to throw down my biggest lump sum yet :)

Alot of bills are do at the end of the month also will contribute to this. I am sure it will pick up again once people take care of the bills that matter now.

Don't micro-manage. Don't miro-worry. Fund raising is going spectacular. More surprises to come.

Adam Curry gave Nov 5th a mention on his radio show. We need to get him to bring it up on the 5th and remind his listeners. He said he has 500,000 tuning in to his show so that should really boast the fundraising.

Ditto to the end of the month being the toughest time to donate which could be a real explanation for the recent drop off. Another factor could be people waiting to donate because they have committed to the 5th of November. With his scheduled appearance on Jay Leno, his Hollywood fundraiser, the fifth of November, his appearance on The View, and the Philly rally which should generate good media coverage I think we can expect a huge fundraising bounce over the next month. I hope he goes on Meet the Press soon, I think it would help us immensely.

There was a big push for the radio ad fundraiser last week that ended on Monday. Naturally after a big push, there will be a period of slower donations while we recoup.

More alarming than the cash raised is number is the number of donors last week:

All we can do with that figure is spread the word, and hope things like the TV ads, the Leno appearance, and other publicity will bring in plenty of new supporters.

I've already donated $200 and I am gonna do my part with another $100 in the 5th.

If it makes you feel any better I haven't donated this quarter yet but by the time November 5th is over I'll have doubled my Q2 donations. Some of us just took the month off.

Got $200 comin' Ron's way on the 5th.

I know two people that do not have the internet that are getting online with their family or friends to make larger than $100 donations on the 5th. The whole 5th thing is bigger than the internet now.

So on Nov 5th we're going to raise more money for Ron than any other political candidate has ever raised in 1 day. Does anyone know what the number really is? I can't imagine we won't beat it, but is there an actual number out there?
