Someone from RonPaulCards.com (http://www.ronpaulcards.com/) was nice enough to send me a ton of really nice Ron Paul for President business cards. Today, I had to go to the grocery store and I figured it'd be a great place to get rid of some. Instead of handing them out to people I took advantage of the little clear plastic things that are attached to the outer edge of the shelves (the little things that hold prices tags in place) The card looks a little different (much better) than the one in the pic below. I vow to visit at least one grocery store everyday until the cards are gone.

Also, stick them in the credit card reader at the gas pump. They fit perfectly.

I went to Barnes & Noble last week and put several of these next to books authored by the other candidates.

So why did ronpaulcards send you free cards?

I need to get some of these, I have some liberty cards, but I dont like 100% of what they say. Those look better.

My grocery store has a place for free mags and lit at the exit. I always make sure it's stocked with slim jims every week. Some get taken, but a few remain, so I know they're not getting tossed. Little, easy things can mean so much.

Business cards are a terrific media to get the message across. They are inoffensive to hand out, and people can quickly recognize some points they like, and readily pop them in their wallet, perhaps right until voting day. No need for huge name recognition costs then. They can mentally "tick the box" of knowing that they have someone who they are going to vote for, right in their pocket, and avoid the rest of the election brouhaha.

Buy something at a retail store and get change? Get handed a card, too, along with the money, as part of the transaction. Thousands handed out per day possible.

Need to tip someone? Give a card, too (explaining - as it's not already on there - about RP's tax-free tips proposal)

Oh yeah, I've been dropping liberty cards since the campaign started, and I've never once actually handed one to a person. I just take a pack of 100 or so with me when I go to the supermarket, Walmart, travels, etc. Then I just drop one onto a shelf or into the packaging of a product or the pages of a magazine. During the average supermarket trip I can get rid of 30-50.

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if the person who sent them to me has any connection to ronpaulcards.com or not. I met the person here on the forum. A few weeks ago, he mailed me a some signs and some 8 1/2 x 11 inch magnets. (the magnets are great for the back of bathroom stall doors BTW) I think he's was just doing his part to help us out in NH.

Needless to say, I'm most appreciative.

another great place is, If you eat out and go through the drive through. I set them on the little window thing. Or I put one where the microphone is when ordering.

Ron Paul Business Cards at the Grocery Store

I got a real kick out of reading your post because I just did this very thing this evening. It was the third time for me. I just set them right next to the price tags.
