Ron needs to work a lot of this rhetoric and tone into his debate answers and talking points. This is powerful stuff that will strike a nerve. The other side is using dishonest fear tactics. Ron might as well use honest ones. Fight fire with fire. Fear sells.

I agree. There are two types of fearmongering. That which is associated with the ultimate goal of increasing the size and scope of government, and that which drives people to fight against it. The first is intolerable. The second is not only tolerable, it may very well be necessary given how close we are to the abyss.
