I wonder how that girl feels today

She is (was?) a reporter for Fox News.

CORRECTION:
Lisa Evers is an American general assignment reporter for FOX 5 News in New York City. She covers a wide variety of stories, but specializes in crime and counter-terrorism, breaking news and exclusives.

Wow, people were crazy in the 80's. It is funny how the one group was sitting down, the other had microphones, and was standing up. The group standing up only had remarks of an ad hominem nature. It is interesting how people understand the winner of an argument to be the one who humiliates the other while ignoring the topic completely.

Holy crap. Morton Downey Jr owned Ron Paul hard. He got in his face and shouted him down straight up GYSGT Hartman style.

It's the same way today, only more subtle.

I'm not seeing in these three clips the part where Ron owned the fat kid, so here's that.

Note that RP says he detests drugs - he doesn't say that any more, which I think is a sign of his growth as a personality since then.
At first I thought this vid was a bit embarrassing, but actually its not embarrassing at all - it shows that Paul is fundamentally young at heart and also that he is willing to shout and argue if that's the way the others want to communicate. He seems to get infected by that unique audience vibe that's going on there - we need shows like that now maybe.
