This is one of the most blatant attacks on Ron I've seen in awhile.

I listen to Medved's radio program regularly. I have never liked him. It is a travesty that this man's shrill voice is allowed to reach as many people as it does. The man is a fraud and fake, pure and simple.

In a recent article for the Daily Beast, Michael Medved argues that Congressman Ron Paul has stretched libertarianism past the breaking point.

I certainly gave them my 2 cents worth and so did a lot of other people.

I used to listen to and like him and only disagreed with him on a few issues, namely third parties. I called in once or twice, and actually was part of the "Caller of the Week!" thing he does to showcase the craziest caller. I enjoyed his book Right Turns, in which he mentioned that he started turning from liberalism to conservatism because he read some Ayn Rand. I liked him because he would often feature people he disagreed with, and would have a good argument with them, which he would usually win.

He lost me when he endorsed McCain early on in the primary of 2008. I had made a declaration to myself that I could vote for any of the (11?) candidates on the stage if they won the nomination, with the exception of McCain. I understand those that supported him AFTER he had the nomination locked up, but before? He has since shown clearly that he is for party over principle. And the thing that irks me is that he says the best way to affect change is through the 2 party system, but then tries to denigrate Dr. Paul when he is trying to do exactly that.

EDIT: HAHAHA, I found (part) of what I said when I called in here: http://srnnews.townhall.com/mediaplayer/srnaudioplayer.aspx?ContentGuid=375ff41e-d275-4c0f-81ae-8571b447cca9
