Republicans and Democrats Agree… (http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/88578.html)

The Constitution (http://www.usconstitution.net/xconst_A1Sec8.html) is unconstitutional (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/2chambers/post/senators-introduce-resolution-to-support-use-of-force-in-libya/2011/05/23/AFNel09G_blog.html?hpid=z1).

In a briefing with reporters on Monday, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said he thought the use of force in Libya might be discussed during debate over a defense bill this week.

“We are going to have a robust amendment process,” Cantor said. Cantor said he thought issues related to the War Powers Resolution “will be discussed in the amendment process, and we will wait to see that unfold.”

So we hear.

Why not just unfold the Constitution and follow that for a change, instead of making it up as you go along?

The bill would also give the president the ability to attack an individual, group, or nation without Congressional approval.
