From a different thread (Marketing 101):

So here is an idea. What if one have a message of the week and every week we get as many people to hammer that simple positive message home anywhere and everywhere? For example, let's say that message #1 is “Ron Paul would balance the budget, and has never voted to spend a dime of Social Security.” Think Message of the Week

Now on Monday we post that message on facebook, forums, blogs, etc and get that simple message out in mass. I spent some time in radio advertising and learned that a listeners must hear a message 3 times before it even begins to sink in. The message just does not register the first and second time. Repetition, repetition, repetition.

Jordan, I also remember that people are motivated in two ways, to move away from pain and toward pleasure.

Do you think it would it make better sense to have a message something like this:
"The business as usual D.C. politicians are increasing our debt and hurting Social Security, Ron Paul would balance the budget and has never voted to spend a dime of Social Security.”

Jordan is right, we must all become expert marketers for the Ron Paul message.

I have actually been thinking about creating something like this. It would essentially be a weekly or biweekly talking points newsletter, tailored to the current news going on, latest poll numbers, etc. Thoughts?

Hello?

I think people are sleeping. I'd bump it tomorrow if you get no responses.

I like the idea. We get enough people to do it, it could work.

Summaries for the win. Lots of information is flying around. I hope that the front page has helped some with this.

RPF has needed a weekly recap that can be sent out to our email list.

It would make for a good front page post too.

Please contact me if you'd like to help with this. The more informed our group of activists is, the better.

I've been trying to do something like that, but people don't seem interested.
