I thought rather than continue to bash the campaign for that atrocity of a commercial, we could do something constructive here and post links to videos we feel would so justice to the man and the message.

So please, let's not talk about the nixed campaign commercial here and focus on linking to the good stuff.

I'll start with these:

Sure they are a little quirky, but it's sometime these kind of commercials that become big hits.

Being different is what sets Ron Paul apart from the others.

Commercials like this are what we need, different.

If we don't get the campaign more supporters and money, their options for ads will dry up in a few weeks. I think people are underestimating what it takes to run a national campaign. Ads in NH are just a start. They are going to need funding and grassroots activism in at least a half dozen other states.

We've almost all said our piece about the ads, let's get back to work now. The campaign has heard us.

I know it is too early for any kind of attack commercials but look at the ads Johnson ran using nuclear bombs against Goldwater. Seems like the reverse could be true today against all the other candidates for nuclear boobs. Also a good site to see what kind of ads were used in every campaign since Ike in 1952. I found them quite interesting. Several with little children. Look at the one with the girl holding a flower.

I agree, he needs each commercial to turn heads and see the problem and the Ron Paul fix. He should float the ads here or on youtube for a few days and see who likes what.

I believe this one TV ad I saw ( EDIT) reassures he is a 3rd tier guy.

He needs to reshoot from the balcony video holding up one finger and saying some statesman like things he said that night, THIS will let him win just remake and run this over and over.

I thought this one was good. It would not be appropriate for general airtime in NH... but I could see something like this fitting on the Discovery Channel or A&E.

I love the second one, wonder if it could be condensed to 30 seconds?

The point of the commercials is for people that are NOT Ron Paul supporters to like them. He already has our support, we need the other people now.

I think this one is very stylized, and would be seen by the 50+ crowd as wtf?

This appeals to most young adults, and we have them so???

There was a poll a few days ago, where a large percentage of people cannot name a SINGLE Republican candidiate.

There are lots of young people paying no attention to the presidential campaign.

The first ad should have gone much like that video, albeit shorter in length and more concise. This one doesn't have the reading off script, the cheesiness and even for a youtube video it has great quality.

There is some great footage in here - over 5 minutes (check out the signing t-shirt at 5:17 ) with nearly 148,000 YouTube hits.

PLEASE let the campaign do their job. They know what they are doing. Please give them the benefit of the doubt.
