True, I haven't entered a plane since 2009 so I don't know what it is like to be groped but I'm not going to make a big deal out of it if I ever get groped because the Obama supporters are getting groped. If that doesn't wake them up I don't know what else will.

You don't want to get search? Then don't, going to a mandatory public school Is not a Right...it's a punishment. You can always go to a private school that doesn't practice safe prom. Besides, to some, it's going to be the most "action" they'll see at prom...it's for the children's benefit.

My question is, even if they want to grope high-school students at prom, why does the authority fall under the Transportation Security Administration?

I thought it was training for becoming a "good" (compliant, unquestioning, and docile) citizen. ;)

Transportation Security Administration.

Hmm... According to the news clip, last year two girls filed a lawsuit because they were groped. In response, no real or hard restrictions on groping were enacted (let alone unconstitutional searches, which were not addressed at all) and they are still going to be groping people, but the main difference is that they cannot sue a TSA agent for groping them.

So, it seems the "problem" isn't that the girls were groped last year. Nor is it that people are being searched in violation of their 4th Amendment rights, either.

The problem is that previously, someone could be sued over it, embarrassing the school. Now with the TSA there, they cannot.

Problem solved.

Oh, and when did stationary high school buildings become a method of transportation?

This is appalling. There is nothing else to say.

Americans will give over their rights for any "safety" reason and that is abominable.

I'm proud to stand with you people.

I've got nothing more to say other than:

"They hate us for our freedom".

Why is this a government role period?

Our freedom? We have freedom? Freedom of what? Choice between Coke and Pepsi? That isnt a choice, and we don't really have freedom. Our only real choice (that they offer us) is to obey, submit, pay fees, fines and licenses for priviledges that were once inalienable rights. (/sarcasm)

But the real question is, if we dont have freedom, why do they still hate us? Maybe it is because we keep finding ways to blow up their countries?

Why is this a government role period?

Because the person who did the previous groping may have been a rent a cop or a local officer. When you have a FEDERAL TSA agent doing the groping..er search you can GUARANTEE they will do it CORRECTLY, because they are TRAINED in a federal government program on HOW TO GROPE..er search and HOW TO KEEP US SAFE. By using this federal government agency we have now SOLVED the problem of having an improperly trained person handling security. THERE WILL BE NO MORE lawsuits, THERE WILL BE NO MORE improper groping (since it is IMPOSSIBLE for an improper search to take place if it is done by a TSA official), THE SCHOOLS ARE NOW SAFE FOREVER. Thank goodness the TSA got involved to solve this local problem. The federal government protects me and keeps me warm and safe at night.
