T-Paw's biggest problem is that he cannot win. His entire campaign is based on winning Iowa. If he loses Iowa he's toast. Even if he wins Iowa, he's toast because he would need to own Iowa, like over 50% of the vote, for it to be extraordinary. Romney skipping Iowa ensures that Iowa will be diminished for any establishment candidate that wins. A non-establishment like Ron Paul, Cain, or Bachmann will be able to get momentum from an Iowa win, but Pawlenty cannot. Pawlenty might as well give up now.
