Obviously nearly all members of Ron Paul Forums favor Ron Paul. But I'm curious to see how divided or in sync we are past that one candidate. So who's your second choice GOP primary candidate AFTER Ron Paul?

No one cares how curious you are to "see how divided or in sync we are past that one candidate", you tool. I look at your previous posts and you are a piece of crap who is trying to divide the forums.

Gary Johnson, who we could call "the good president Johnson."

I don't need one. There are those here trying to interest people in Gary Johnson and they will say him, but personally while I neither have nor need a second choice, he wouldn't be it if I had one. People say they are so much alike but I don't see it at al, particularly on sovereignty and economics. Gary seems more internationalist, is ok with NAFTA picking trade winners and losers, etc. Or possibly, he just doesn't have as deep an understanding of the issues.

However, we are here for Ron, not to settle for less than Ron.

So far for me, it's Ron or someone in another party, and that doesn't include the Democrat party.

Why would I need a second choice? I only have one vote.

Mickey Mouse

I used to vote for Donald Duck, but after that groping incident while on the job I just couldn't support him anymore and my vote goes to Mickey Mouse.

Luckily there are 2 Dr. Pauls. They get my 1st and 2nd choice. After that it is 3rd party.

I will vote for Ron Paul in the primary. If he wins, I will vote for him in the general. If he loses the primary I will vote 3rd party.

Rand paul. Gary johnson is pretty good but there are a few major disagreements and areas where he seems on the weak side. Bachman is ok too even though she voted for the P.A. - she's tea party with many libertarian views and I'd say we agree 70% or 80% of the time.

The only person somewhat interesting is Gary Johnson, but Johnson is going nowhere in the polls. He'll probably be out of the race fairly soon & its questionable as to why he was even in there to begin with. It seems to be a ploy by the beltway d.c. cosmolibertarians to disrupt/hijack the RP revolution.

I have never voted in any of the regime's elections & never planned to ever, but I'm willing to vote this time for RP.

Ron or I'll just run a blank ballot through. I'll stay on the voted in last election list.

Either Ron or I start checking out who the Constitution Party is running this year. If Jerome Corsi ran for the CP nomination, I would support him.

After Ron Paul, my 2nd choice is Ron Paul, and, I guess my 3rd would have to be Ron Paul. My voting preference is an infinite sequence of Ron Paul.

Likely writing Ron in.

I'd probably write him in unless he endorsed or strongly suggested another person like last time.

Agreed. This is a Ron Paul forum.

I can't believe I fell for that one. I'm normally skeptical of posts that I respond to, but definitely Ron Paul is the candidate. In 2008 I wrote him in for the general election.

A vote for the lesser evil is still a vote for evil.

I think if Ron is not nominated this time, we should send the gop a message across the board in 2012. I mean the country is doomed if he doesn't win anyway.

I will vote for Ron Paul in the primary. If he wins, I will vote for him in the general. If he loses the primary I will vote 3rd party.

This is what I did last time, and it is what I will do this time. There are zero interesting candidates in the poll.

I'd vote for Rand Paul if he was an option and Ron wasn't, but that is unlikely in this election and I'd rather vote for Ron.

After Ron Paul, my 2nd choice is Ron Paul, and, I guess my 3rd would have to be Ron Paul. My voting preference is an infinite sequence of Ron Paul.

This reminds me of how I voted at the CPAC 2011 straw poll. 1st choice: Ron Paul; 2nd choice: Ron Paul.

[Johnson] seems to be a ploy by the beltway d.c. cosmolibertarians to disrupt/hijack the RP revolution.

Bingo.

I knee jerked a "No GOP vote" since if not Ron I typically vote for the LP candidate or Baldwin if he runs CP again. This is a really tough call since we cannot afford 4 more years of Obama. I suppose I may have to hold my nose and vote for a pro-life Republican if Ron does not make it.

If being legit consists of supporting Guantanamo Bay to keep the torture going, and also gushing all over Sean Hannity, then go ahead and keep your legit bro. As for me those are no-questions-asked deal breakers.

He is a long shot as it is and being pro-choice he does not stand a chance on getting the Republican nomination. He should just drop out now and endorse Ron.

Ron, in general whomever is LP candidate unless it is Barr, then I will just leave my ballot blank.
